Is this traditional mindfulness meditation?

It is mindfulness adapted to work the body first. MAVA uses breath, rhythm, movement, and vagal cues to create biological shifts that quickly releases stress. This is regulation, not relaxation.
 

I tried meditation and it didn’t work for me
